To open one or more new viewers:

To close one or more viewers:

A single viewer can also be closed by closing the corresponding window.
Viewers can be linked or unlinked. When a plot is requested, the results are forwarded to all the linked (or active) viewers. When the user performs an action on a linked viewer, such as a viewing transformation (rotation, translation, zoom, etc.) or the editing of a graphical object, this action is forwarded to all the other linked viewers. In this way the action is executed by all the linked viewers. This feature is used for simultaneous visualization and collaboration (linked viewers running on different machines will share the view-point and the graphical objects).
To link/unlink a viewer:

A single viewer can also be linked or unlinked from the "link"
icon in its toolbar. Also note that the title of the viewer window shows
its name (number), the machine where it is running (host) and a "---->"
symbol if it is linked or active.
