Currently there are two possible ways of dumping images to files.
- The first option is to dump the scene of a single viewer to a file:
- Click the "dump" icon in the toolbar of the viewer whose
scene is to be dumped. This will open a dialog window which allows the
user to select the image format, path and name:

- Select the image format from the option menu.
- Change to the desired directory by double clicking in the dir list
or by typing it in the path entry field.
- Select the image name in the file list or type the name in the file
entry field.
- Click the "OK" icon to dump the image.
- The second possibility is to combine the images of all the viewers
running on the local host into a single file:
- Click on the "control viewers" icon in the tools window to
open the following dialog:

- Click on the "dump" icon. This will open the same dialog
as in the previous option. Follow the same directions given there.
The available file formats are: RGB, GIF and JPEG.
